This course is designed for individuals with little or no commercial driving experience. Students will learn the skills needed to pass the Class A CDL driver’s test. Complete vehicle training will prepare you for an entry-level position in the trucking industry. Once you complete the course, you will be awarded a certificate. Students will receive 40 hours of classroom training and 120 hours of “on the road”

training. You may register at any time; however, class size is limited. Enrollments are accepted on a first-come, firstserve basis.

If you like to be outdoors, love challenges and aren’t afraid of heights, being a

professional Line Worker is a career to consider. The MCTC Basic Lineman

Certificate Program will train you to install, maintain and repair high-power

transmission and distribution lines and systems that deliver electric power from the

generating source to the end user. This is a 17 credit hour Certificate Program.
